Another storm, another question about where to sail.

Where can one wave ride in winter storms in the Margaret/Dunsborough area?

I will be down there for the coming long weekend and it looks like we will get some good swell and wind from a variety of direction (NNE to WSW, standard storm I suppose) over the three days.

I understand that Gracetown/Cowaramup bay (inside) works by WSW. Does it work by W and by WNW too? Where is the best launching place? The boat ramp on the north side or the town entrance on the south side? I understand going at the back is a no-go. What wave should I be looking for?

I understand that Bunker Bay can works on NNE and big swell. Could it work on WNW or W? Again where is the wave on the beach?

Any other recommendations (Margs boat ramp by W? Augusta?) for wave sailing?

Thanks for sharing your tips!

Fab
