It's not that bad I got 4 channels now.

Well, one of them only has sound and no real picture but anyway...

Yeah. I know what that's like.
With the new digital squidgital tv channels, I get perfect reception,.... right up until the really critical bit,.. the who dunnit,.. the answer to everything part, and then it goes pffftt and the picture freezes, i get just snippets of sound, just enough to tease the hell out of me, and nothing else.
Then two minutes later when it's all over it comes back perfect.

At least with the old analogue channels, although it used to get snowy sometimes, I could still follow the story.
Oh well. That's progress I suppose.
It's all just part of the conspiracy.

Mate apparently I'm not even to get digital unless I buy a sat dish.
It is bvllsh!tfarkin ....... if they are going to foist a change upon us, and make us get a STB, then they should broadcast digital signal for all channels in areas where analogue is currently broadcast (ie all country towns)

anyway, when is the LOC on telly?

But Mark think of all the advantages you have over us poor city folk..

You get to drive 2 hours each way to the beach to go sailing (if the wind comes in!!)

You get more flies than us on the coast..

It's usually 10 degrees hotter than at the beach..

Because you don't get to watch as much telly you get to do other stuff like --- talk to the missus and jobs that you've being putting off like sanding that rough spot off your fin just in case you get to hit the coast soon..

Pay higher fuel prices - not to mention food and bevvies..

The list could go on but it may seem that I am jealous so I won't

Anyway mate see you at the beach tomorrow if you can make it

Cheers
Ken
