The BOM is saying S/SW 18/23 knots in the afternoon and increasing to 20/30 knots near evening but the arrows are still pointing to the east.

Is thing thing going to start happening today? Is anyone game to call the start of the season?

maybe, but the ocean reef weather station mush have shat its self. makes it a bit hard to judge where to go today.

When the BOM don't know what to say they put down 20-30knots

a few crew were out but i called it and went home.
i would have had a go at mets but the tide was mega low and rocks i'd never seen were sticking out of the water. waves looked nice but.

Flew out on my 4.5, gybed and limped 2km back to shore. Nice walk from Pinnaroo to Hillaries...

There was decent wind at Woodies all arvo - 15-18 knots

I know I was looking at the sound from BP, drove sth, had a look at the locals, kinda ok by the time I got home it had fizzled to naught
