Had a spot of bad luck lately. Flat landed a high backie at Lano two days ago and may have tore my MCL. Looks like I may be off the water for a couple months.
Woke up this morning to find all of my windsurfing boards stolen. Found two boards on the street nearby, but my brand new (used once) 80L 2016 NuEvo Wood is still missing.
I've filed the relevant reports with the police and in the process of finding the serial number. If anyone see's a similar board for sale, especially from a non-windsurfer seller, please get in touch.
where was it stolen from?
Gumtree and Ebay allow you to setup a monitor that automatically notifies you if a product with a particular keyword appears as a listing.

It will turn up. Give it a few weeks and it will appear on gumtree or facebook, the lowlife that stole will need some $$ asap for his crack habit. Might also be worth giving cash converters (in your area) a call. Was it stolen from lano?
Stehsegler already set up the Gumtree automatic listing - good idea :)
Zed - Stolen from South Perth last night.
ozpricey, not good with your kit being removed, nor your MCL damage.
If any good to you, I went to Subiaco Sports Injury Clinic to see Jonathan Charlsworth, surgeon, (Ric Charlsworth son) and then referred to physo John Anner, all in same Building .
From my perspective, both fantastic to deal with, saved my getting any knife work done, by setting up a rehab program.
Final test was a knee strength test with John at Beatty Park Aquatic centre, where I came through with positive results.
Cant recommend these guys highly enough.

That sux.. hopefully you'll be back on the water in no time. I'll keep an eye out for the board, can't be that many around. I've only seen one all summer.
Yep that sux. Seriously how many people in WA can even sail a Nuevo??
I got a call from Armadale cops three months after my wave gear got nicked (with my car) as it was found dumped outside a bowling club. My excitement at getting it back was quickly dashed when I saw that the thieves had not just dumped it, they had run over everything
Anyway, good luck getting it back.

Thanks mineral! I've only heard great things about Subi Sports Injury Clinic. Once I get some answers from the MRI I'll definitely book in. Thanks :)

Agreed! It was hard enough to get hold of one. Hopefully whoever stole it realises it'll be too hard to sell and drops it somewhere. Cheers for keeping an eye out.

That really sucks! Thanks. Yeah chasing up insurance, hopefully its all good :)
Good news. The board was returned without a scratch, still in the cover, with fins attached! Crazy. It was dumped near Coogee power station.
Thanks to everyone who helped out or was looking out for the board. Stoked we've got such a friendly tight knit windsurfing community here in WA.
Thanks again you legends.
