definitely worth it but go up a size, the gustiness can be bad.
Pelican Pt (Nedlands) for anything with some south in it, or Majestic Pt (Applecross) for due east or any north in it

That's a shame if many people don't anymore.
Most memorable for me was boxing day which would be 3 yrs ago this Xmas I think..... no seabreezes for about a week or more, but the boxing day easterly was nuking all day.
I got to Peli early thinking by 9am it would be gone and at midday I was still maxxed out on 5m. At least 20 wavesailors out all day all on 4.5 - 5.0. Slalom dudes were insanely fast and really good to watch, scary fast in the chop Now THAT was a easterly :)
I was working on a house at majestic point own by a rich Italian guy. Every morning l would see heaps out.back in the day you do need to use a bigger sail in the gusty conditions& the wind driven chop at times was a handful.it is a pity not many folk do it these days
Was full full power off Applecross/ Majestic Pt early this morning. 4.4m overpowered, few crew there.
In fact its still windy... so cya!
