Hey!
Me and a kitesurfin friend of mine are coming down to Perth next week from the cold sweden, -10C atm ;) Since we are flying with BA I can't bring my windsurfing equipment so I will probably try to find some used stuff when I arrive, this site seems to have a pretty good buy & sell market. But to the question, I don't know much about the conditions in WA at this time of year, so I was hoping someone could give me a clue of which sail sizes I should look for. Mainly for freestyle but hopefully some wavesailing as well. I was thinking of 4.2-4.7-5.3, will I need bigger sails?

We are going to buy a car so we can drive along the coast, but we don't know much about all the spots, is there a spot guide to find somewhere?

All other tip are very welcome as well!

Cheers! /Pat

i'm 65 kilos and when i'm wavesailing use a 4.7 pretty much all the time, if its lighter i can go up to a 5.2 or 5.7 but i dont normally have to do that. occasionaly i have to get out my 4.2 but thats fairly rare, although i did use it a fair few times last year. my dad is around the 85 kilo mark and uses a 5.7 and 5.2 pretty much all the time. when going wavesailing i either use a 62 or 80 litre evo depending on the conditions.

How much do you weigh?

If you are up around the 80kg+ mark you will need a 5.7m or similar for sailing around Perth
