Hi everybody, the dates are locked in for the WA Slalom Series for 2019/20. Big thanks to Jo and Premo for working with WWA and SBYC to get it all happening this season!
The plan is to keep the scoring the same as last year with the first seeding heat scored and the last all in race not scored. 3 completed heats constitute a round and if we get through 4 or more heats your worst result is dropped.
Series points are 2100 for the winner of the day, with 2067 for second on the day and 2034 for 3rd place and so on in -33 point increments.
Dates are as follows:
Round 1: 26/10/19
Round 2: 16/11/19
Round 3: 14/12/19
Round 4: 25/1/20
Round 5: 22/2/20
Round 6: 14/3/20
Round 7: 28/3/20
Tickets are available on the WWA website for $15 per round, $90 for the full series or $25 per round if you register on the day. Alternatively you can join Safety bay Yacht Club as a member for $105 which includes WWA affiliated membership and all the Slalom Series races, please help support the club that supports us!
I hope to see all the regulars down there again as well as plenty of new recruits as well.
