Hi all, im looking for an old windsurfing board that I can chop up and play around with.

It doesn't have to be in good condition. All im really looking for is something that has a flat rocker. Im after speed and I have a few ideas in mind that i want to expiriment with.

Willing to pay in kitesurfing lessons, beer or $$.

Cheers in advance.

Nah they're both placcy - I gather he's after conventional construction you can't really chop up n play with those old things

Fancy suggesting to cut up my 30year + old boards. They take pride of place in my shed next to my cassette deck, analog TV and video player.
Both boards are are foam filled poly/plastic boards.
If you are interested in cutting up my old Tiga you can have it, but I think Mark is right you are probably after conventional construction.

Thanks for replying to my thread, It sounds like you have a fine peice of windsurfing history.

I think ill leave the old foam filled poly/plastic boards alone.

I'm sure someone out there will want to learn on them.

I have been looking on gumtree and the like, there are a JP wave boards out there for $100. My only question is how fast the old wave boards will travel. Im thinking a slamon board would have a better rocker, rail combo for speed.

Is this what you are trying to do?

If so, I have exactly that board for you (AHD slalom). Yours for $99 or equivalent in beer

If that doesn't work out, I have an old slalom board cluttering up my shed.
