A few people have been asking me about this so here is the preliminary details.
Timing may not be best after New Years, but only time I have to do it as I'm going away after that.
Idea is to have this as a warm-up for the LOC, but on flat water. Can become Annual event ?
2 races within 1, for the Elites or anyone that wants to do it a TRUE MARATHON, 42km 6 x 7km laps of Peel estuary, in same race for the rest who just wanna have a go, 14km 2 x 7km legs.
Registration on the day. Free Registration 4 WWA Members!!
WWA membership is prerequisite that covers us for Insurance we all do it for free but if something goes terribly wrong then we in potential trouble, so WWA membership covers the insurance side of it. For those who are not WWA members, either join up before race or join on the day of the race, and see WWA membership as your registration fee.
I have sold my boat, so will need a rescue boat for the day, and to put the BOUYS out!!!! PLEASE HELP!!
If people want a momento from the day that will incur a cost, so throw up your ideas.
Would be nice to present the Winner/s with something?

I am thinking of coming over from NSW for the LOC and maybe able to combine the two events? Where can I find relevant info on this race, venue, campings etc? Thank you.
The GTC are sponsoring this event and Crasher from the Mandurah Mob has donated a Trophy to be used as a Perpetual Cup, so I'm Gonna Name it The Crasher Cup.
Engraving will be The Crasher Cup; Mandurah Marathon 2011 Winner xxxxxxx xxxxxxx 2012 etc..........
