Just wonder what safety equipment i would need if i wanted to enter into The Lancelin Oceanic Classic. I understand you require a pfd and flares?
What type of flares (handheld) and what type of pfd is exceptable?

All specific safety requirements are listed on lancelinoceanclassic web site in the past I've used my neil pryde life jacket from wsp and two hand held flares 
I just had a look at the web site and I couldn't find any info on safety requirement? Maybe someone could confirm if any changes in safety equipment are required for 2013? thanks guys
