Well you may recall me posting up a thread about moving to perth...

I leave sydney on the 2nd July towing my big ass trailer that i built especially for the trip...

It should take us 4 or 5 days to get there.

I will be very keen to come out for a sail sometime soon after arriving!

This was a pointless post to say i'm on my way, mostly because i'm excited!

For your event things... considered a road trip to sydney to go windsurfing? lol

its hard to get rental houses in perth from sydney!

Can you guys comment on the rental market in the scarborough area?

I have found a few but they aren't really listed until a week before they are ready to live in. Meaning I cant really organise a house until i get there!

I dream of the summer breezes and fine waters, bikini's and great windsurfing!

Do you guys have much of a social thing going there for windsurfers?

Alfredo, depends on what type your into. Cant talk for the wave crew, but the unofficial slalom and speed guys usually get together every Wednesday afternoon/evening for a bit of fun on the river at Peli Point. Run by WWA, and from the turn outs we had this year gone, it was a good fun event. Usually supported by BBQ and a shandy after each evening.
Any place North or South of Scarbs will do you fine for a rental. Check the local map and work it from there. You wont face the traffic hassles like Sydney that's for sure.

So when you talk to your mates back east you can tell them you live In-a-loo hahaha
At least its not Up-a-swan (Upper Swan) Then it would take you 45mins to get to the beach!
