Finally got in two sails in this week! bring on the winds... Had a great sail today at Gracetown bay on the NW'er. Must say that going down a lazy 4' foot wave face on a Hypersonic with a 6 metre sail was a bit scary at times!

Congrats thats something else !!

I took mine back of Lancelin one day, survived but it gave me a false sense of ability so I ride it in the LOC 3 weeks later- never again!!

Classic, I very nearly took it in the 2010 LOC as well as the wind was a bit iffy. Ended up going for a 90L freestyle and a 7m instead which ended up being a good choice seeing that the wind picked up during the race. The old Hypersonic does handle the chop surprisingly well for such a wide board (its the 105L) just once in the air have to be really on the ball with the footstraps being so outboard. I love the old thing for just smashing about on in the light wind.
