I got out today on my 5.7 Rock and 86L Fish
Flogging along in the seabreeze, sun shinning and with kilometres of ocean all to myself
Anyone else get out?

sailed 4pm till 6.15pm on river blowing 12/20 knots.

on 6.7m rigged full, off the plane only a few times.

swapped boards to bigger mini-formula at 5.45 and had a long run to point walter

fully powered up in only 12/14 knots of wind.

nearly got stuck down at pelican pt on tuesday as wind dropped off quick, only just

made it back to applecross, had to do 500m walk of shame.

Yes it had to be quick. Had to be home by 6 because it was my daughters 8th birthday.
Not much swell at all really. Probably knee high. Just enough for a few jumps.
Super flat in the gybe zone.
And I had to do a few speed runs where we usually race each other coming in. Came unstuck while flying off the wind and went A over T and almost broke my neck!
Good fun

Yeah got out on Sat, Sun & Monday at the local, no one else out on either days Monday was the best..
Was on my 5.7m & 99L JP single Thruster, Set up worked well in fact worked great for my 95kg not always planning but on the waves it was perfect, can not wait to try the smaller size single thrusters..

Was very supprised not to see any one else out as the swell was about waist to shoulder high with the odd bigger set yesterday.

I saw you out there on Saturday Pete. I would have joined you but I went for a SUP out of town in the morning and I had the kids in the arvo.
Yesterday was great hey. I think it caught a few off guard or most were out of town?
We had uncrowded waves with plenty of waves rolling through.
Might see you there tomorrow? I need some backie tuition from you
