yep got caught in the war zone today..
got hammered in nedlands where i had to take cover under some trees
in the hilux with the brand new ali trailer on the back...

i have never seen anything like it...it was like someone had let rip with a machine gun..
the noise was deafening, leaves and branches where flying off the trees.
once it was over i drove home via the broadway and thomas street where there was all sorts of carnage...mercedes on the verge with windows smashed and covered in dents, the roads surrounding charlies where flooded,traffic lights had been shot out and lying on the roads!!
my lux lost a wind screen,side mirror and dents all over the body!
My husband had the misfortune to be in Nedlands this afternoon also.
The car windscreen and headlights are smashed and the body work looks like orange peel.

to report the hyundai had lost the back window and all the panels
looked like a golf ball!!
and water was coming in through light fittings!
spewing i missed the 50kn gust at peli!
The one consolation Steve is that you now don't have to worry about fixing the damage you did when you jack knifed the trailer last weekend

holy crap you guys got nailed in perth, i was working on the roof in safety bay at the time and all we had was a light show and some rain, but htose hal stones look lethal.... anyone see that guy on the roadbike on the news last night, ouch!!!
The red rocket took a battering. Looks like someones pogo sticked on my bonnet and smashed my indicator cover off as well. Was on hold to the insurance company for 90 minutes before giving up.
Our car is a write off.
SGIO were extremely friendly and helpful despite the pressure they must be under atm. Five stars for service ( a long wait on hold would have been unavoidable under the circumstances.)
