I wonder why the downwinder is so short now, going back to the late 80's early 90's the downwinder was from Greenough river mouth to Point moore, more distance more fun. A down winder from St georges to coro would be better, especially in 3.5 swell conditions, it would be a tad difficult for rescue craft though.
