HelloZ,
i am planning to come down to WA from Germany this September, because i dont want to freeze my butt off once more over our winter :)
I ve been browsing through your forum and I got the impression that this summer was not the windiest..
I was planning to buy a 75 l waveboard and a 4.5 - 5.0 m² sails with my 70 kgs of weight. Do you think that i' ll even need a bigger board and sail with my weight or is it windy enough on a regular basis for even a 4.0 in WA?
Thanks in advance Mr. Hanso

If you are 70kg and on a 75L you will need a 4.0 in Dec - Jan in some places up north.
But in Perth you may need a 5.3 - 5.5 often

ideal would be 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5 and that will get you out every day there is a seabreeze

HolaZ once more,
which month is "normally" the windiest in WA? Dec? I also thought about buying a freestyle board for the days when its not so windy. Is it easy to get a used freestyler in WA?
Thanks for the quick reply

late December, January and early February, are the best wind times, in theory! Practice doesn't always follow.

Think you should be able to get a 2nd hand board.
