We dont need consistant 20 plus knots to have lots of fun
14-18kts 147ltr formula board and 9.2
planing consitantly for over two hours this avo, lucky bay to spit at point walter and back
why the stigma with these boards?
While im blasting across the water with no crowds, others sitting on the grass only wondering
What can i say much more time on the water makes for one happy sailor

Me three.
Just finishing a nose protector for my/our formula and I'll be out there.
Just need to protect the HUGE target area before I crease it.[V
Some of my best days out were on formula.

enjoy formula in winter days when temp in north west is around 18 degrees.

westerly winds in winter are good too.

sailing in 30 degrees plus like yesterday ,don't have energy to pack car and rig up.

agree, some of best days w/surfing are on formula gear.
