last year we didn't get our first NW until June.
Very exicited indeed - even some decent swell about - should be a fun afternoon.

I was planning Melville with the expectation to sail in NW.
However it looks like NE.
Is Melville sailable in NE?
might be better at Majestic Pt sailing towards the freeway and South Perth or Kings Park ish...
both directions covered then I think.
Just went NW at Rotto - big dark storm clouds approaching with bucket loads of wind behind it.
I am out of here.........
Have a great sail everyone.
same i set up ,to late i missed the front then the wind dropped of afterwords.;-=(
only had 6m below in the storm itinary.....
had to run 7.0`s after 16;00hr the 5.0 didnt cut the cheese there wasnt another front coming thru and it cleaned up by the time i finished work!.
i noticed 2 boats washed up on the beach one like 30 ft yacht and another!!!!
Thing is with storm surfing you have to utalize the front small sails high gusty wind.
after is passes throughg it seems to go quiet unless there is more behind it
