Come on, who bought new gear?

Surely Huey can't be that vengeful just because he feels like it?

I reckon it's all Bender's fault.

Alright it's me!
Last time I sailed I hurt my rib. So I got on the blower to GOD and told him no more wind till I'm better cause I'll just go out and it won't get better. GOD said he'll have a firm word with Huey to put the wind on hold. But GOD also said cause Huey will be holding on to soooooo much wind when he does let go, he'll be blowing his ring out! and it will be very very windy, said something like it's about balance?

Im going to be in Bali for the first week of July so Huey is holding all the WA wind until then just to punish me for going away ! So expect that week to be epic.

cant be my new board, since it still blew in Vic where I escaped to test it for a day... the reckless things we do in the doldrums for a fix.

It was Greenroom then, he's started the 6 weeks of no wind after new gear curse... someone will have to sacrafice a board.. no one else buy gear unless it's windy on that day, it's the only way to break the curse...

Yeah- sorry, I bought heaps of gear, but what else is there to do when you can't go sailing? It's a vicious cycle.

Anyway I thought it wouldn't be so bad if the gear is second hand....

I didn't buy nufink, although I did win a Choco fin
Does thinking about ordering my new board count
12-15 knots will do it, that's all I need right now.
Even started looking up as far as Gero and down as far as Walpole

cause of the lack of wind i got myself a minimal. guess that also counts as new gear or?

(i cannot even remember the last time i had a sail )

whats up with this winter? last winter we had a front coming in most weekends and plenty of sailing.. this year, sure there has been plenty swell, but wheres the wind?

Wow Matt, you really have been a naughty boy. I felt sure that it had something to do with some RSR's but perhaps not.

I'll try not to winge too much, the first week of July isn't too far away

Well I've got 2 new Avalon race sails, tried there bottom ends out but I'm hanging out for some decent wind to try their top ends.
I've also just finished making a fin for my new low wind board

What have none of you checked the forecast? Wed has been all green arrows for about 4 days now and just looks better and better

Decrep you might be better off at A******** rather than using the race sails - SW and 3m swell

I will be working on Wed and no window to go for a sail

Damn!

My cunning plan to distract Huey with shiny stuff has come undone...

For the sin of speaking about a forecast more than three days in advance I sentence Mark to one day of watching the trees bend over outside his work window.
