Who can explain this?

Will it happen? I can't see a big summer-like high giving us an easterly in June - not a good one anyway.

And blowing all day? Usually they are gone by 9:00am.......

do I place any faith in the forecast? and if I do, do I need to get on the water at 8:00am just in case it fizzes out?

Hmmm

looks unlikely doesn't it?
I'm trying not to get too excited but keeping the day free just in case -
which will almost guarantee no wind

I hope it happens but it needs to be a pretty damned fine easterly to get me out on my tea coloured lake full of sticks out here
Actually yes Anita, make plans

I've just booked a landscaper to come and give a quote at 2pm so it will definitely be windy from about 1 - 3

owww yeeaaahh might be alright (not that I've looked) but there'd have to be swell and a bit of a blow

I've given up hope for the weekend anway as BOM says 13-18 and only strong offshore - seabreeze is optimistic with all its green arrows. I'll reschedule for a 30-35kn westerly thanks Lozza
