Thank you, very nicely put together... I wish I had sailed in closer and kept out of the reflection. I'll do better next time :)
Heh - being in the reflection was my fault - flying blind it was easier to get folks in shot pointing out from the beach. You can see that the side shore shots with the back to the sun come out much better, but harder to estimate the aim so had to go long distance. Not really the best time of day either, and I didn't have the proper filter on the lens. So expect improvements over the next few weeks and months. I'll post the results on the forums now and then, or you can sub us on YouTube/Facebook.
If it wasn't for the risk of kites hitting the quad from behind, I'd be wearing 'VR' goggles (and looking like a tw*t
). Once I get a spotter, the problem will go away and the quality will improve when I can actually see what I'm filming. I'm also conscious of not getting too close to folk I haven't discussed it with - a buzzing quad can easily p*ss people off. So if you see me around the spots filming and don't mind a flying chainsaw around your head, give me a shout. ![]()
HA! I noticed later on you were trying to position away from the sun, and that scene the with the kite and thought it could be nasty for your drone.
