I just didn't know which one.
Hardies thinking "Hmmm grated Cheese"![]()
what's woodies like in a westerly??? i'm thinking the first beach on the way in??
I'm looking for places to sail in W and NW that arent going to destroy my knee like crazy waves. PM me so ya dont give the game away. Please ![]()
Bertie,
If you don't mind the drive to Mandurah, there's a great fun course out the front of my place, (Avalon Bay). WNW is directly onshore, and the reef keeps out most of the chop and waves, but there's the occasional small ramp makes it over.
It's usually a bit too exciting for a good speed run, we've got low 30s here.
Due W and NW give a reasonable downwind rum one way but not to upwind to get back in the other without tacking.
You may have to share it with the odd kite, and one or to windsurfers. I love it but get better speeds on the estuary, especially in storm conditions.
I've been requested to use up some accumulated anal leave![]()
don't know whether the weary old bod could handle 2 days in a row after so long without wind![]()

well i have committed and booked Wednesday off. I hope to get good glassy conditions for a SUP surf, should be plenty of swell after the front has blown it self out![]()

so should i be booking out the speed gear or looking for waves?? either way i'll be driving some considerable distance by the looks. where on the estuary is suitable for a westerly for speed?? i've only ever sailed at hardies b4??
Looks like another front is forecast to come in straight after this one as well...
Heeeellloooooo winter ![]()
Bender and i are gonna rip our local to shreds! ohh yea!
cannot wait. i think i feel a cold coming on...
well i thought we were gonna wave sail but ive been cautioned against it ![]()
