I'm around Windy. If you after waves forget it....... us GPS flat water show ponies usually sail at Australind just next to the BP servo at Ridley Place boat ramp. You could try Binninigup if there is a heaps of swell. When i wave sail i head to Avalon or down south usually

Just want to get a sail in, not to fussed about waves, wind down in margs has been marginal, just want to have a powered up sail!!!!!

Australind looks shallow and rocky, but I'll look out for you .. I'm normally there on Mondays.

What's the ocean like off the beach near the senior high school??

Back beach is really choppy and unpleaseant due the the basault rocks causing lots of back wash.

No rocks at australind

Well there aren't many!

If it's low tide, just watch out for sandbanks where they've dredged the boat channels

Hey Windy Miller I have not been un Bunno for a few years now but I use to get a quick arvo sail from the back beach, just north of the pub thats there (cant think of its name), just have to time your launch right to miss the shore dump and the kids.
On a north westerly Coombana Bay is a possibility for some bump and jump and
on a strong easterly Turkey Point (out near the cut was good fun on big gear)..

other than that Esturary = Flat, fast & Mud.., Binningup for jumping, splashing about and generally having a giggle...

Windy, Bunno is 70kms east of margies. The wind really struggles to get into the bottom of Geo bay where we are. Pack your biggest kit you have. My most used sail is a 7.8m
