Hi Guys, just thought you might like to know that the Blokart World Championships are coming to Australia and is being held at Lake Walyungup dry lake bed near Safety Bay, it will be held over a ten day period starting on the 18th of January through to the 27th, the Australian Nationals are up for the first three days of competition followed by the Worlds with two scrutineer days before each event.
We would like to invite as many wind surfers as possible to come along and check out our sport of land sailing, after the worlds have finished we will be conducting a come and try day on the 15th of Feb to thank sponsors and the general public for coming along by introducing them to the sport, to give you an idea of what Blokarting is all about check out this link where I went to Nevada for the 2012 Worlds last year.

Cheers

Had a go a couple of years ago at one of the open days down there. F@ck me!!!!! Scared the crap out me. Those things go so fast and because you are only 2mm of the ground it feels like you going 100 times faster. Gybing at full speed up on two wheels you think that's it this is the end. Great fun though and I would encourage anyone interested in windsports to check it out at least once.
