WooHoo, it's great to be back
Yesterday threw some gear in the car and went for a drive and ended up at Lano, got to catch up with a few old friends that hadn't seen for a while. The wind was light but started showing signs of promise so rigged big, was nervous about putting my foot in the strap for the first time since breaking my leg when wipeing out last year.
It was sunny and onshore with a few pumping onto the plane then soon after the front came in, it switched south and fresh, managed to catch the first wave at main for the day and what a beauty it was. There were plenty to go around and by the time I came in it was dark and everyone had packed up and left already.
The leg felt great though wasn't too aggressive but am so stoked to be able to get stuck into the waves again, see you guys back on the water soon, that's a promise
Grant.

Glad to hear you had a good time and the leg held up.

Hey Grant well done glad to hear you have recovered.
Good effort driving to Lano
Probably safer to keep doing your hang gliding rather than windsurfing.

Sailed Lano yesterday, didn't bother going to South Passage, sailed main break, biggest I've seen it in a while. Nasty wind shadow though, so had to sail over powered. Good session.

How's Scarbs been shaping up this season? Wouldn't mind doing Margs soon if the kites haven't taken over the break yet.

It wasn't too bad when I sailed there last summer. A few out, but not too many.
