G'day guys. Just wondering if anybody is using these sails?

Would be good to support a WA sail maker

Cheers

Hi Guys,

a little news on the Avalon Sails side of things, we haven't been concentrating on windsurf stuff for a while, besides experimenting on Decrepit of cause, and building a few sails for mates and the odd R & D toy when time permitted.

The pressure of raising a family and trying to get somewhere financially lead to a change in direction for Avalon Sails and getting caught up in racing boats again (Moths for the last 3 yrs) kept us away from Avalon Bay and windsurfing too much.

However.... all that hard work over the last 18yrs has paid off as we have now finished our new house that overlooks Avalon Bay and with that has come the renewed connection with windsurfing and I am about to start making a new range of wave sails first (because that's what Belinda and I need now) and after that will be getting into race sails for the GPS nutters that have been harassing me to do something over the last few years. What is it about tearing around in ankle deep water and weed for hours on end, but I suppose it's better than mowing the lawn!

See you on the water,
Bugs

Well said Bugs, but we're just going to have to get you into the real smooth stuff sometime and show you what it's all about. (And stay out of the ankle deep stuff, you go through fins too quickly, it can still be mirror smooth and waist deep)

I'm happy to put a 5m through its paces Bugs.
It's an easy job for me as I'm usually putting myself through the wash cycle

You're all welcome to have a go on anything you can wrestle off me, feedback good or bad helps, even putting sails through the wash cycle.
