I need to "update" anti slip on my isonic. has anyone have any tips on what stuff i could use so i dont affect the nice woody look of the board ( she is really pretty the way she is:) ?
Steve Stratfold does deck re-gripping.
His phone number will be on here somewhere, his workshop is in Myaree.
I did my iSonic 115 wood earlier this year and it came up a treat.
Didn't rub the existing remaining grip off, just washed clean, taped up what i didn't want covered, rolled on some resin nice and thin and even, then covered in white sugar. Let dry, dust off excess and then when fully hard, rinse off with water, maybe give a light scrub to get the semi disolved crystals off.
As good as new.
