nah - cloudy weather and gusty compared to usual summer........ Lots of days on water but wind up and down.
Used my 4.5 about 2 or 3 times last year, it has not even been wet this season.
Used 6.2 maybe twice last year, but at least 4 times this year.

Scenery was as good as ever at Lano

The sea breeze has been very consistent this year but not that strong.

Quite a few days in the 20-25 knot range.

Many in the 10-20 range just like today.

Better than average.

First time we've agreed on anything Chris!

I dunno either way. This was my first FULL season back after 10 year break so i'm pretty happy. Though i would like to get one last session in Lano....waves before the season is completely over.

Finally picked up a small high wind sail (4.2) but haven't got to use it except on the SUP

Season started late , finished late. I thought it was great.

To me the wind was two weeks on, two weeks off all season. Maybe its doing FIFO like everyone else?
It was great during the two weeks on and my fitness would be pretty good at the end of the two weeks, but then there would be two weeks of almost nothing and my fitness would drop off and I'd have to start over again.

It was fun.....better at the the start.....learnt to pull my gybes both ways this year, started wave sailing at wedge, got mangled at wedge, spewed at wedge from getting put through the washer, put my leg through two sails, bust a boom, my mate did a couple of masts........all in all was heaps of fun, just wish it wasn't over!

Its funny you should say this

i have said to a few people every time i flew to work for 2 weeks on it was honking and when i returned it was terrible :)

The first year it has gone against my 2:2 FIFO roster

DOH!!

My observation is based on 2 separate issues. Everyday I look out my bedroom window I can see the indean ocean and on most days this summer I saw a decent seabreeze, I would pack my trailer and drive to the estuary, and it was never as windy as the ocean. So I imagine if you were an ocean sailor you would say "great season", if an estuary sailor as I am, I would say a "very ordinary season". Lesson sail the ocean if you want good seabreezes.

Good! I didnt use a 6.2 this season made a huge wave board and paired it up with a 5.7 Blade perfect for the light days.
