Hi all

Long time lurker on the forum since my days of learning how to surf and kitesurf 4 years ago!

Being stuck indoors for months on end during COVID motivated me to start training for an attempted solo swim to Rottnest Island on 20th Feb 2021. I'll be raising money for mental health support as I'm sure we can all agree this is now as big an issue as ever.

I'm reaching out for some help in search of a boat and a skipper to support me on the day. Who would have thought organising this would be a bigger feat than qualifying for the swim itself! I have a kayaker ready and expect to get across in just over 6 hours (conditions dependant).

More than happy to pay you a rate for the day along with fuel costs.

Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul, good onya for giving it a go. I am already committed to a team unfortunately. See if that falls through or not.

Just make sure your support crew is as well drilled as your training

Thanks very much! Do you have any tips on where else to scout for a boat + skipper? Thinking of popping down to the local yacht club and putting up some flyers. I have pmd you my phone number if that falls through. Cheers!
