Ouuuuuuuuuccccccccchhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

looks sick

the forward at the end is facing the opposite way and the rotation is clew first (I think). I have watched it 20 times and I still can't get my head around it.

im pretty sure the forward is switch like a t-bone so when he lands he'll be switch stance. meaning it would ^&*^ the ankles

since most of the top "young" riders seem to be born with rubber joints I don't think landing switch stance from 6 meters is really an issue.

now I want to see the crazy pete into double forward... can't be that hard

THAT IS SUPER IMPRESSIVE
How much speed is he generating through the rotation... awesome !
How about the horizontal flat loop spin thing he does at around 48 secs (bit like a wymaroo ?)
Watched it about 10 times and still cant work it out

Oh yeah.. how was the height on those backies as well... CRAZY

That's exactly what it is... a Wymaroo into a wave. I actually don't that is that hard. It's certainly more difficult doing it on flat water.

To be honest, my biggest problem is that every time we have wind and waves here on the East Coast I get so excited that the last thing on my mind is trying out new things.

If all you do every waking day of your life is windsurfing you have only two options... either you get seriously bored after a few months and stop all together or you start playing around trying out new things.

I have gotten to that stage about 3 or 4 times in the last 10 years. Never did I get bored (that's why I love this sport) but sadly every time I started to try new things work, a lack of wind or both got in the way and I somewhat lost it.

Guess I should have grown up in a country like OZ rather than land bound Germany... well mostly land bound... then again, I wouldn't trade all those weekends at Lake Garda for anything in the world... anyway... this is really awesome sailing!!!

The crazy pete was in a windsurf mag a few years back, but the foward at the end is nuts... It's like a Crazy Kauli Pete...

I was doing these a few years back. He needs to switch his stance at the same time he flips the sail. Thats why the kook can't land it.

Not good on the body me thinks

Boujmaa’s new move The Black Shot Boujmaa contacted us this morning with this great new video of his new move called the Black shot. As soon as we had watched the video we set up an interview over Skype.

Duncan – Morning Bouj, when you did this move was it something you were chatting about to your friends at your surf spot or did you get the inspiration when you were out on the water?

Boujmaa – I have been thinking about this move since landed a move called the Crazy Pete. I first did the Crazy Pete, and then saw a possibility on going into a forward loop after the first rotation. Since then it has always been in my mind, I just was chicken at first and was scared, but when I had the photographer with me, I just new a little bit of courage would help do the move, and had to do it. So the first time I tried it worked, I couldn’t believe it.

Duncan – can you explain how you do a Crazy Pete?

Boujmaa – A Crazy Pete is a half back loop where you switch tack half way through your back loop.

Duncan – OK so then how did this develop to your new move?

Boujmaa – To do my move you have to go up really high, do the Crazy Pete with enough height so after you can go into a switch stance forward loop.. you get me?

Duncan – so you go up and do your Crazy Pete but higher than you normally would. As you do your Crazy Pete you are then in switch stance ready to do your forward?

Boujmaa – Exactly! Right on.

Duncan – How did you come up with the name for the move: Black Shot

Boujmaa – Yes it’s called the Black Shot. I was so confused with naming the move, I tried everything, Boujloop, BG flip, Bouj flip, Back shot, and then Black shot. At the time I was with the photographer and we both agreed black shot sounds cool, and plus my name with the move doesn’t sound so cool.

Love the rig flip. What a smartass. I have enough trouble doing them when I'm sailing normally...
