just in case anyone plans to visit Europe 
, I used to live in Portugal - the Atlantic coast is definitely worth a check. Slightly warmer than our South coast, less sharks but more people. Wind season goes from May to September (North wind - other tack
), otherwise plenty of good waves for surfing too. Morocco is pretty sick too, just around the corner and a much longer season (similar to ours in WA). My mate has a photo web site with some cool shots:http://www.guincho.biz
