Haha. We were getting hammered on 4.2s all day then had a break. Went back out and scored twenty minutes of gold ( when the pics were taken). Wind backed off to 25ish and super clean waves. Waves were abit chaotic at times though with peaks throwing in weird places and big close outs breaking reeeallly wide.

Dan, great to hear someone managed to make use of the conditions. The pix certainly look like it was pretty decent. Actually looks a bit like Hookipa sans the ten million people competing for a wave.

not sure if anyone went out at long reef, it was about 2-3 metres. flatwater probably a safer option. As my face is sliced, couldn't go.
