Hadn't been to Pt Leo in forever so it was a nice treat to see it firing at near best, was howling 30+kn when I arrived at lunchtime and soon dropped a bit around high tide and some nice waves too. :)

I had some great sessions down there a few moons ago. Remember one day it was hailing etc and being a Queenslander starting freaking out when the end of my fingers started hurting (like real bad). Ran up the beach to the car freaking out looking for help, turned out I just needed to dry my hands properly! :)
I'm sure heaps of guys sailing tassie have it cooler but for a Queenslander it takes a bit of time to adjust.
