I live not too far from Wanda Beach, and that's definitely sparked the interest into wavesailing. I've been freeriding for 3yrs now...is Wanda Beach a forgiving enough site for a newbie? If so, what sorts of conditions (wind speed/direction) should I be looking out for, esp as I start out?

Would appreciate any tips!

Most days at Wanda are fine for getting started. Just look at the wind reading for kurnell, once the arrows are consistantly green your good to go at Wanda. Just avoid the days with a bigger swell and you'll be right. Most days in summer are pretty small so there will be plenty of days to suit you.

Dinh it should be no problems for a man of your sublime natural talents

I'll see you there mate. I'll be the one getting crunched in the shorebreak I'm hoping to get out at Wanda heaps this summer.

We have to do a Gerroa trip soon as well. great learning spot.
