Hi Franz, congratulations on a very slick product. I enjoyed my 5 seconds of fame with the best wipeout of the trip (8mins 30 in for anyone who wants a laugh at my expense!). Just wondering if you have any footage of me actually sailing on the waves rather than getting eaten by them! If you do I'd love to see it.
Cheers,
Jonah

Ps I now have the Goya quad 78, I think they may have changed it a bit compared to yours, I may be wrong.
frans,
v nice production.
you're game with children up there and your misses must be v understanding also. I don't think my wife would go past Gero, we are Sydneyites after all.
I call her a camping 'snob'.
Awesome work Frans. Did you film that all with your DSLR?
If you haven't seen it, here is another clip from the same trip that I put together :)

@ Jonah: I think I have some more actions from you (will have a look), but my wipe outs were not as spectacular! Been a bit cautious on the big days...
@ Tomp: my wife also has her moments with the dust, wind and mice, but did remind me to timely book again for next season... Guess I'm pretty lucky! Kids love it too, so it's 3 to 1...
@ Bennosmith: saw your vid, nice one too with lots of rides. I used a Nikon D7000 and Panasonic TM700 (for all action).
@ Stringer: hard to beat the Poor Boyz... Nice to show someting from Oz though, like Reflex's stuff.
If we get a budget, we can maybe put in some heli-shots!
Thanks Frans, would be very pleased if you did find some footage. I think we are all lucky our wives and kids enjoy Gnaraloo so much. We are booked in again for next year too!
SM is always vert - love that about his style
Everyone is sailing good and getting stuck into it, but I gotta mention that the rider with the simmer rig and goya quad has a beautiful flowing style on the wave. Awesome fwd rotations too. That goya turns corners well
Amazing at 8.55 to see the bend in the reef/swell when you see the wave rider carving and another going out through the break in the distance - boggling
SLICK and SICK!!!!! well done
Frans, dat ziet er waanzinnig vet uit! (awesome vid!)
Nice job! Seeing this, I can't wait to visit WA from December onwards!
