We offer weekend wave trips to Taranaki / New Zealand. No matter if you want to travel New Zealand with your non-windsurfing other half and want to get a few days of wave sailing in or if you just want to hop over the ditch for a fun action weekend, come and join us. Everything is organised (food, accommodation, spot guide), and we can even rent you windsurfing gear if you don't want to bring your own stuff in the plane. Check here what the next dates are waternomads.co.nz/index.php/trips/
Hope to see you on this side of the Tasman! :-)
I visited the bay of islands many years ago it was an unspoiled natural paradise. One of the first things that struck me about the place was what an awesome windsurfing spot. We also took a drive up to the northern tip of the island to have a look at where the Tasman sea meets the pacific ocean and I was gobsmacked by the long lines of swells rolling in for kilometres. I can't remember the name of the beach and the swells were rolling more than breaking but with the advent of windwing surf hydrofoils and windsurf surf oriented hydrofoils, the place looked epic for that type of gear. Does anyone ever do any sailing/surfing/foiling up there? It looked remote and hard to get to but worth it.
I've bookmarked your sight and added to my bucket list. Hopefully I get there one day.
Our February Surfari has kicked off with perfect Waitara conditions and means to continue with a sweet forecast today ??????
Spots still available for March, April and May Surfari's. Food and accommodation all catered for, superb company is guaranteed!

I know, you're currently stuck in Australia, but there will be a time that you're allowed to come across the ditch again....
Just wanted to say that we are now offering trips to the Far North as well. Focus is on freeriding and all sorts of foiling (wind, wing,....). If you're interested, hop on our website and sign up to our newsletter (at the bottom), then we keep you in the loop what's happening and you don't need to keep on checking.
