Does anyone know how to predict good surf through the use of weather charts, cold fronts, moon etc. I know there's specific surf reports but that's not what I'm after.
Thanks

Here ya go... this is pre-set to your area

magicseaweed.com/MSW-Surf-Chart/35/?imageScale=swell&chartType=HTSGW

Pays to keep check of a few different sources and then track what happens... after a while you will get a feel for what does what.

Make sure seabreeze stays at the top of your list of course

Elmo is on the money... Vico should be smokin on 14th/15th/16th

Also check here:
www.seabreeze.com.au/graphs/nsw_synoptic.asp

Have a look at the low pressure cell moving through around Thurs/Fri/Sat as it should give you a heads up of whats coming and from what direction.

You will also find a useful link on how to read synoptic charts near the bottom of the page... told you to keep it at the top of your list !
