Philip Koster 15 years and taking out the single elimination wave event over Victor Fernandez. Well done
can't wait to see the footage..... double elimination will be a cracker
best report on whats happening so far I could find.....www.continentseven.com/c7blog/?p=1719http://www.windsport.com/news?news_id=273&uniqid=247
and who was it saying the PWA tour sucks... the GFC might have reduced the number of events but the quality just gets better![]()
It was alway going to take some time for the next generation windsurfers to burst on to the seen.
But it is now a happening thing with all the equipment and new moves at a touch of a button.
The use of cameras /footage has and will take it ,to a new level into the future attracting more $$$$$$$ and sponsership.
Great effort
phillip takes the win.

Here is Philip's winning heat. Not bad for a 15 year old... will be interesting to see what he is like in 5 or 6 years. Not many 15 year olds that can do a push loop into forward (@ 1:55):
I think it's great to see what they can do in mushy surf.
Not being a wave sailor myself, I get a bit bored watching perfect glassy-mast-high-cross-off-down-the-line-bottom-turn-smack-the-lip.
Not being a freestyler either, I can get a bit bored too watching spock-vulcan-star-trek-character-loop-spins too.
However, I'm really interested in where the two are meeting out in the surf though. Cool!
how big is that kid! for 15 he looks like a giant! sweet skill and moves. victor would be spewing! about time someone else won.
