I picked up a 05/06 Jp real world wave for a bargin the other day, took it out in 15 knots with a 5.7. To be honest I didn't think I'd get going but two pumps and of she went. The only trouble I was having was with the fin, I'm 70kgs, little bit heavy on the back foot as I'm no wave sailor but I do use the board in bump and jump in Morton bay anyone got any tips for tuning this board, mast track, fin position etc

You could slide the mast track forward to put less pressure on the fin and put more pressure on your front foot.
But it doesn't hurt to have a bigger fin then recommended on a wave board in marginal winds. Thats my opinion.

If it's the original JP fin that came with the board (Grey/yellow) then take it out of the board and use it to chip ice off your freezer then next time you need a defrost. Also works particularly well when thrown into an abyss........once.

Keep an eye for an MFC fin for sale (like a K-One or 2K or Onshore). 23cm for a 5.7m IMO

AB...

Ps. The RWW worked well for me when fin was pushed forward in the box when tackling the cross-on mush conditions it was built for.
