Are they slot boxes on the side fins and US boxes for centre fins?

Rumour is that these babies (Contest Quad) are 1kg lighter than the regular Cult Quads, is that right?

What is the width of that puppy? Looks in nice proportions to it's length given it's 100L volume. I cant seem to get the info from the RRD sight

Looks NICE!!!!

I am guessing you can't get info from RRD site because it's a 2012 board.

Pssst... Don't tell anyone but rumor has it jp 99 thrusters was such a hit the shape will be unchanged in 2012 and joined by a 106 liter version. I guess that means get a 2011 at super prices while you can if you are interested in a bargain and that particular board.

R1daer,
Can you put up a review once you get the new Contest 100 RRD?

Tom, I heard this also, prob the same source

I also was told by the same retailer that because of the extra costs of materials that Cobra has put up prices by 15% for 2012 kit, so make that up to 30% when products hit shops to keep the margin. These extra costs are reflected in the RRP prices globally, however, here in Oz we are pretty well being spared price rises for 2012 gear due to the continued strength of the AUD.

Just spoke to Paul at 2nd Wind the carbon construction 100 cult is $2450 for 2012! I think he said that board is 63cm wide, the limited construction rrds will be $2150.
