it is not on the nsw season calendar, only the events that are part of the series.
but there is no conflict on dates. in the past that weekend was the woolgoolga comp.

Bowsa DunkO is correct. We've also worked more closely with the formula/slalom guys to prevent competitions on the same weekend (where possible) allowing people to race and wave sail.

Yes, there has definitely been a lot of effort to invest in the future of the sport as a whole to increase participation and make is possible for sailors to attend as many events as possible. With a El Niño weather pattern this summer should be windy!!

It's great for NSW WA to have a lead-in event to blow some of the winter cobwebs out. With so many westerlies lately we are really hoping we get some great conditions at Port Kembla

New season - best excuse to buy new sails!

I'm trying to read Anne's expression. It's either:

"I hope you've already paid for that" or "pile on!"

I still can't get over how light that sail is!

What about a new board to go with the sails?

I'm going to absentee vote as there are local council elections on this Saturday.
Packing the SUP as well as boards and sails just in case.

A quick thankyou to everyone who helped make a first event a success. New location at Port Kembla worked and the beach indicated it's huge potential. I'm sure lots of pics and a full event report will appear shortly.

G'day mate,

We are thinking of Nth Entrance beach between the late entrance and a beach called Pello's which is the northern end of the beach depending on the wind on the day. Southerly wind option is looking to be Toowoon Bay.

If you are staying in the area I recommend the campong ground at Toowoon Bay - realy nice spot. Kim's resort for those who are cashed up! Otherwise there is probably a few options in The Entrance township itself.

Hope this helps
