the forecast change every time we look at it
What doesn't change is the fact the teams event has always been worth attending
I believe the NSSWA AGM will be on - event dates will be discussed and locked in, positions on the commitee will be available
If you want a chance to have a say - this is when you should make the effort to be there
Anyway, there are green arrows from the NE and 30 degrees showing for Sat as I type this - I am definitely going to be there!!
Hey guys,
when does the AGM take place I will be there only on the sunday, the conditions looks good, camera will be on!!1
xx
It is scheduled for 11-11.30am Saturday - people with hangovers on sunday mornings don't always show up
If anyone has anything that they wish to be listed on the agenda please email to nswwavesailing@gmail.com
It is a shame I can't be there, keep in mind I am willing to get more involve in the association as i am probably staying next year, let me know if you need anthing.
xx
Good news Adrien-why wouldn't you stay?!
My advice for the AGM: Bring a chair!!
I may wear my Gath lid whilst SUPing this year!
Forecasts look good with even a small south swell on Sunday..!
Re. the organization, can you confirm the meeting is at 11am at the usual car park?
Surely it should be North of the Bridge / South of the Bridge / Central Coast (and above) / Illawarra (and below)?
I'd also like to suggest a SUP comp so we could get Ed, Tim, Mark, Matt, Brett (if he's coming down), myself and I'm sure others on the one team.... We've also got a few SUP girls who might get involved for those extra bonus points!
We've got it in the bag! Might as well hand over the trophy now and be done with it.
Sounds like a good plan Crash.
I still have a couple of single beds left at 31 headland rd
pm me if your interested
Sorry to let team Northside down but cant convince Nina camping in the rain with the dog is a good idea. May see you guys Sunday. Enjoy.
Brett
Top weekend - enough wind and fun waves to keep everyone happy.
final result was draw between Team Wanda and South Coast - even after double checking the results and counting back! Northside came in 3rd just ahead of Team France! Although the 'tricolour' spirit meant that Francois and his team were the most jubilant and enthusiastic the entire day.
Sunday came and so did the Sth Swell. Geniune 4' on the sets but the wind was sketchy at times and never really planning. But soooooo good if you slotted one.
AGM was productive with some new committee members and two minor rule change to encourage more Pro's to get to at least 3 events and to improve the quality of judging overall.
Personally I'm so tired I can barely lift my arms and after so much good food at the BBQ I have to squeeze my harness on!
cheers
Tim
Hi All
thanks to all involved for organising a top weekend. Some great fun on Sat and some great waves on Sunday. Next year Northside revenge !?!
anyone posted any photos/vids from the weekend??
Tim did you make contact with the photogs on the ladders, any chance we can get them to send us/internet share their photos?
Rob
Great WE indeed. The waves on Sunday were so good.
I found a hand grip to easily downhaul the sails (.. there might be a name for this i'm sure..). It was on the rigging area near the camping. Please PM me if it's yours - i've got it in my car.
Photos - I asked the huys on the ladders about them but they were mainly for their own interest rather than any commercial interest. They did not have any website as such either but Was gave them a call to come down - he may be able to make contact and get a copy. I'll ask him.
There is a little bit of footage around taken by one of the WAGs - it may appear on YTube shortly.
