Hi everyone,

The season is starting September 11th so take advantage of our early bird discount for season membership by submitting you payment and membership form before the 15th of August. For $130 its great value for;
insurance
BBQ food and drink
T-shirt
Stickers
Raffles and prizes
A chance to lift your sailing through expert advice and tuition

go to our website www.nswwavesailing.org
Or straight to the pdf document
http://www.nswwavesailing.org/images/gallery/full/NSWWA2010-11.pdf

PS for those looking to book accommodation in Woolgoolga you might want to start making a move now to get somewhere to stay!

Hope everyone got a sail today - I imagine Birubi and Boat Harbour near Cronulla could have had wind and waves.

Cheers

Hi Dunko
Most drive up - 6 hours but you don't have to rent a car when you get there!

For accomm - PM me you're always welcome!

Woopi accomm - there are a few houses but getting up to $600pw and you can only access from Saturday arvo. A few people stay in Coffs which is only 20mins south - lots of cheap motels.

THere is the Diggers Rest in Woolgoolga - next door to the RSL and about $80-90 per night. There is a Caravan park as well on the water.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the info tim. Driving looks the best option, as long as you can make certain it is as good this year as it looked last year.

i think the swag will be my accommodation.

Fortunately it works both NE and SE but it's actually better when its big SE as the waves have a little more power. NE is fun but you need to rig a bit bigger than you think as the waves tend to be a little softer and crumbly when generated by seabreezes.

Looks like we will have a curry night on the Saturday night for everyone and be at the Seaview tavern on the Sunday night.

If you get the chance for a few extra days stop by Crescent Head for great point wave or book yourself for a round of golf at Bonville! It will also be whale watching season.

cheers

Come south from Woolgooga, there is a little point and island called flat-top at the mouth of Hearn's lake.

Sail north of this point in anything southerly and south of it in anything northerly.
