Hi guys and girls,
The nsw state titles are being held next weekend. It looks like we will have some half decent swell for it so register online and come on down to Gerroa.
Just to clarify, this event is open to all, not just NSW sailors so if your from another state, your welcome to enter and we'd love to see you at the event.
See you all there,
George
The NSW Wavesailing state titles are on this weekend Saturday 20th February - Tuesday 23rd February.
Our aim is to run the event on the weekend with Monday and Tuesday as a back up if conditions don't cooperate. We will more than likely be using these backup days as the forecast currently looks not so good for the weekend but Monday and Tuesday is looking insane!!
It could well be alltime with a nice seabreeze and a big long period easterly swell forecast to arrive Monday and Tuesday.
For people arriving early, Friday is looking to be a special day too with a nice south swell and seabreezes at Gerroa. We will post more details after the updated forecasts tomorrow evening.
See you on the weekend.
George
Can i register at the event ?
Yep, Keep an eye on the forums and the NSW Wavesailing Facebook page to see what time on Saturday.
G'day everyone,
The Wisuki forecast is settling on a Southerly on Saturday so the event start will be at Windang surf club. The time of sign on etc will be announced in the coming days dependent on the forecast.
There is a strong possibility that Windang will be pretty good early! A decent Easterly swell with a dropping tide and potentially 15kts plus, so we could be having an earlier than usual start. Stay tuned.
Monday and Tuesday is firming up with the forecast to be pretty good too so make sure you come along and join in the friendly competition.
Saturday night will be at Gerringong Bowling club with lucky door prizes for entrants including sails, harnesses, extensions, etc, etc, etc, so remember, you don't have to win the event to score big! Thanks to our awesome sponsors for donating prizes, it is really appreciated by the association and our members.
More details to come regarding the starting times etc soon.
Cheers,
George
