Just got back from a three week stint in Morocco. Spent most of my time in Moulay Bouzerktoune, an awesome reef break with super consistent winds and swells this time of year... here's a small vid i made of my trip!
Hey Bowsa,
Good to hear you're enjoying the northern hemisphere. I'm off to moulay in 2 weeks for 10 days.
Hows the water temp - saw you in shorts so it can't be too bad.
Made it up to rhosneigr yet?
Martin
ps- you're missing nothing in qld - its been s**t
Bowsa, would this place be a better alternative than maui for waveriding,
is there only 1 break to sail or are others nearby anygood and can it handle a crowd, have read it gets crowded with poms and europeans?
Morocco would be cheap for cost of living i assume?cheers
martin - yeah its wicked! not as warm as it looks, i had a shortie wetsuit underneath... and havent been up to rhosneigr yet, but plan too at some point... made i to brandon bay last october though, and went to cape verde in february... and off to fuerte in a couple of weeks! enjoy moulay! are you staying with the guys at the bouj centre or fanatic centre?
about comparing it to maui, i cant comment as ive never been! but it doesnt get too busy, always space for a wave... especially when it gets logo to mast high, most europeans and poms wil stay out the water so its game on when conditions get really good!
