Hi,
I'm going up to Boomerang beach (NSW) for a couple of weeks. Does anyone know where the good sailing spots are in that area (flat or wave)? Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers.

Halidays Point/Blackhead. It's the Far Northern end of Tuncurry beach, awesome little spot for NEsters, works best on low tide.

Flat - Smiths Lake for NE from boat ramp/Frothy coffee. Southerly ok but better off Wallis or Myall lake.
Previous posts on Wallis, good except prob SE - ribbon weed usually present.

Waves - NE as PC says or even Old Bar/Wallaby Pt which seems to get more wind than Boomerang.
Southerly good off Blueys however can get a bit rough, One Mile (Forster) southerly an option however
popular surfing spot.
