KP has been pumping out the travel videos. This one is from the Marshall Islands from about a year ago so has probably been posted before but there is some great waves and crystal clear water.

2 Questions:

1. Did the rig survive at 2:08?

2. What price to take the gear there.

How little wind does there have to be before it's no longer windsurfing but simply surfing while holding a sail?

Exactly, and I don't remember (w/o seeing it again) any footage of anybody sailing back out, what no airtime on the way back out?
Good flick anyway.

Its easy to underestimate how much fun wavesailing in light winds can be if there are proper waves to ride. I have had some great sessions on the west coast of Tassi creeping out in the channel and pumping on to the waves. A light offshore breeze soon turns into 20 kts and the water is butter smooth. the West is mostly beach breaks so the penalty for a wipe out is pretty small, those reef conditions are a whole new level of destructive potential.
