I am considering a SUP for light wind wave sailing in New England/USA- primarily MA and RI.
I am an advanced ws and SUP'r, decent wave sailor: wt- 165#'s and 5'10".
I currently ride Ezzy Panthers 4.2, 4.7, 5.2 and 6.0. I recently acquired 2 used Quatro Quads in 85/95L.
I SUP on an Coreban 8.0 VIBE which I am selling because I find it too floaty at 129L's.
Ideally looking for a Sup that can schlog and still be lively on the wave so, stiff and light if possible.

With the vast array of light wind wave boards now I really think SUP wave sailing is a waste of time. My opinion is if its too light for my big wave board i'd rather be SuP-ing anyway.
Nevertheless I have two SUP's both with mast attachments points - a Staboard Hero and a Quatro 8'6", I havent used either as a wind SUP in the surf but I think the Quatro would be OK as its very light and turns well.
I use my fanatic 8'5. It rips, and when it gets windier it will plane, but by then I'd rather be on my windsurfer. I do miss the footstraps from my starboard 9'1pro though. Also a great windsup.
I reckon priority should be paddling and surfing. If it surfs well then it will sail well on the wave. After that you just need to be able to float out the back. I'm 85kgs. good luck with the search.

It totally agree, unless you really want a good SUP for wave sailing....with your 95L Quatro(assumed it's a recent quads like the LS?) you are bullet proof!!!
I was 3 weeks ago at Punt San Carlos. People was blown away with large Goya and Large Quatro how tight it turns and how fun in the surf compare to how slow and bulky board was 10 - 5 years ago.
I think my friend who is over 100Kg(220lbs) was having a blast on a 110L Wave Board...even the single fin Goya One who is not a pure wave board was really good apparently! I'm naming those brand, because that what was available there, now everyone are making large good waveboard. Yes you can have fun with the RRD Wasup and AHD Sea Lion...but I would pick a sup just for SUP if I had a 95L Wave...I mean you can easily uphaul that and go in pretty much in any wind!
Apparently Sea Lion are pretty hard to beat!

The 120 litre 9.5 ft exocet longboard with the duck tail would suit you perfectly. SUP with sails are boards too wide. This one is nice and skinny.

I am not familiar with the wind regime in New England/USA- (MA & RI). I imagine that light winds are common.
No recommendations but I can tell you what I do. I have a Bic 121L which does not float me easily when the wind stops.
I am 6' and almost 200#. In light winds ride a 130L Bonga Perkins SUP. With the step rail it surfs better than any fat rail board (is the Corban fat-railed?).
Rather than sit on the beach I am happy to chug out under sail to catch waves but I have broken $tuff because I did not have the wind power to get out of trouble.
Probably could recommend that you look at any board with a step rail..
I used a 9.5ft franatic in light winds with a 5.4m sail to float out in boom height-head height waves in Mauritius. Was a ball as its like slow mo wavesailing. I was out with Simon bonhoft the instructor guy, who suggested the idea.
I have a JP 8.5ft SUP which has a mast screw but it doesn't sail great in the traditional sense but you can drift the tail in turns and spin off the nose too. good fun.
