Anyone hear how the station and 3-mile is?

I heard that it's burning though into Waroona.

Brings new meaning to "Gnaraloo is firing"

Gnaraloo bushfire extinguished

Posted Tue Jan 27, 2009 2:46pm AEDT

A bushfire which started at Gnaraloo Station, north of Carnarvon, has been put out.

The fire was burning in a northerly direction for nine days, with Warrora Station and Coral Bay both under threat at one stage.

The fire burnt through more than 49,000 hectares of bush and pastoral land and there have been reports of stock losses.

The Gnaraloo-Quobba Road has reopened.

Cool. All out now......... and all that exposed earth with black bits will heat up and make better seabreezes.

Can anyone say silver lining?
