So has anyone out there tried the latest Starboard Evo or Naish Wave?? any comments?? My knees aren't as good as they used to be and I'm looking for a wave board that's easy on the joints...the Evo sounds nice to me...

If it anything like the old EVO it will destroy your joints any time it is not on a wave - very bouncy due to no vee.

New evo's are actually V all the way through.
Very smooth on titanium hips:)
Not that they were made that way because of that!

Not the boards you were asking about, but my Exocet Evo Wave has amazing footpads that are super soft and comfortable. Might be worth having a look at.

Cheers

Naishes are good on the wave but bouncy as well on choppy water, try to find one to try before you buy,

Thanks for the responses. I use a Naish Comp Wave 73L 2004 model at the moment and am now find it too much work on the old knees, it's a very scatty & responsive board, I used to love it. I have a Starboard Isonic 2010 model and it just carves a gybe for me and I was just wondering if the Evo's did the same thing.
